This was a first time tie-dye project for me, and I loved how they turned out. You know your crafts look good when several total strangers comment on them and ask where they can find them! We (the kids and I) had so much fun with the faces after the actual tie-dying was complete. This GREAT craft idea came from an October issue of Family Fun Magazine. They were definitely the perfect craft to show off at the pumpkin festival that we planned to attend the next weekend.
Variations of this project are soon to come! We've got a great trip coming up that will make a perfect excuse to try a new spin on this great idea. I'll make sure to include some step by step how to's with pictures so you can try this fun project too!

I have decided to start a blog about all the crafty things that I enjoy doing on my "lazy days" at home. Like most people I don't get many of them. Between working a full time job and being a wife and a mother of 2 kids there just doesn't seem to be a lot of Kim time. Speaking of the kids, you may see several posts that will include kid friendly activities! I hope you get some inspiration from all the fun stuff that I'm going to post! Who knows, maybe someone out there can send me some inspiration too! I'm always looking for new ideas....so let's Blog!
